TILE applications are now closed and we will be sending out acceptances shortly!
Over the span of a weekend, participants will work on an open-ended prompt—Using design-thinking to challenge their assumptions, learn something new, and turn an abstract idea into a functional prototype.
Throughout TILE, students will have access to a variety of tools and resources. From inspiring speakers and workshops, to access to mentorship, the takeaways are endless—for design enthusiasts, curious beginners, and everyone in between.
Open to students from all levels of experience, TILE aims to:

<aside> 🎈 INSPIRE — Give students the inspiration they need to kickoff their design career or to continue in their design journey.

<aside> ♻️ LINK — Help students connect with mentors, industry professionals, and other budding designers in the virtual community.

<aside> 🙌 ENABLE — Provide the opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience by using design thinking to turn an idea into a tangible solution.

UW/UX is a student organization committed to growing the user experience and product design community at the University of Waterloo.
